The Lupoto Project has a surface area of 140sq km and is located approximately 10km to the south of the Kipoi Project area.
The same structures and lithologies which host the Kipoi deposits have been identified as extending into the northeast of the permit over a distance of at least 3km.
Programmes undertaken include detailed aeromagnetic surveys, geological mapping, soil sampling programmes and air core drilling to test three high priority soil anomalies, Sase, Kapampala and Mwana.
At Sase Central, Tiger has defined an Indicated resource of 3.1Mt at 1.6% Cu containing 49,000 tonnes of copper (and 2,000 tonnes of cobalt) and an Inferred resource of 11.6Mt at 1.3% Cu containing 151,000 tonnes of copper (and 5,000 tonnes of cobalt).
